I love working with families and capturing the beautiful chaos that comes with growing and changing together
I’ve always been the designated memory capturer of our family, but when my first son was born everything changed. My camera became a big part of my early motherhood survival kit, a way to fill my creative cup and help me bottle up those memories.
I love photos that make you feel something — the kind that instantly take you back. That’s what I want to give you too: real life, honest moments that you’ll look at later and swear you can still hear the laughter from.
I’ve recently started learning film after my beautiful Aunty gifted me her vintage Canon and am loving capturing my kids’ childhood with it. My days are filled with toddler snuggles, being a part-time taxi driver/snack bitch, forcing my green thumb (it’s yet to appear).
As a mum of two littles, I know the need to bottle up the memes quick smart (my newborn is starting school next year, how??). That’s why I love documenting stories — the fast, messy, beautiful kind you never want to forget.
My goal is to capture photos that feel like you. I want to let the magic unfold and capture some snaps along the way (don’t worry, I’ll still tell you if you’re doing something weird with your arms!).
My favourite feedback is always, “Wait, I didn’t know family photos could actually be… fun?” Sessions with me are easy, relaxed, and “hey that was actually… fun?”. Kids running wild? Perfect. Dad forgot sunscreen? No problem. You don’t feel like putting on matching outfits? Even better. I’ll capture the moments that matter without adding pressure, awkward posing, or forced smiles.
Oh my god Emma we just saw the photos! They are incredible are you kidding me!!!!!
